Libraries and cultural centers of Moscow invite you to Open Doors Day

November 19 A single open day will be held in the libraries and cultural centers of the capital.
More than 230 cultural institutions of the capital are waiting for guests from 10 am to 8 pm. Visitors will be able to find out what is new and interesting now in the libraries and the CC of the capital, take part in master classes and trial classes of circles and sections. Tours, performances, concerts, exhibitions and book novelties are also waiting for guests.
So, in the cultural center “Cultural Center” on Akademika Koroleva Street, you can take part in open lessons in painting and playing the piano, attend master classes in vocal and acting skills, or learn about the main areas of work of the House of Culture on a sightseeing tour.
The Novoslobodsky cultural center on Sushchevsky Val will host a literary and musical evening in the style of the Pushkin Ball, an interactive science show, a master class on creating retro postcards, and a concert by the Ad libitum ensemble from the D.S. Bortnyansky Children’s Art School.
The Meridian Cultural Center on Profsoyuznaya Street prepared master classes for young visitors on creating comics, playing chess and mahjong, acrobatics and juggling. There will also be an open tennis lesson.
In the House of Culture “Voskhod” on Marshal Fedorenko Street, a performance will be held for children in the technique of sand animation, and after that, those who wish will be shown how to create “live” paintings.
The staff of the A.P. Bogolyubov Art Library, located on Sushchevskaya Street, in the former city estate of Nikolai Tretyakov, will give a tour of the building for those who wish. Guests will also be told about the life and work of seascape painter Alexei Bogolyubov and the story of how the library settled in this house.
In the library No. 209 named after A. N. Tolstoy, on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, a meeting will be held with the famous author of detective stories Alexandra Marinina. And in the children’s library No. 145 on Musa Jalil Street, a game-quest “The History of the Glass Factory in Tsaritsyn” will be held.
