The lead singer of the rock group “Bi-2” Egor Bortnik (Leva, recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent) went to Tel Aviv after being deported from Thailand. Izvestia reports this.
The musicians were previously detained in Phuket due to a concert they decided to hold without the necessary permits. The media wrote that Leva, Shura and other members of the team were sent to Bangkok after the trial. The artists were fined $85 each and decided to be deported. In total, seven members of the team were detained.
Both frontmen of the group have Israeli citizenship, and Shura also has Australian citizenship. The remaining five participants arrived in Thailand using an internal Russian passport.
