The State Duma has supplemented the law on education: now it will be impossible to use mobile devices in Russian schools, except in emergency situations. Labor education is also being reintroduced in educational institutions. According to parliamentarians, this is necessary to instill hard work and prepare children for adult life. Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize believes that attempts to return to the past are doomed to failure.

Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin attacked the enemies of the people who oppose compulsory labor lessons in schools. It’s strange that they still exist. But nevertheless, they – those who are against – want to destroy the country, no more, no less. The goal of these gentlemen is to accustom our children to alien gadgets instead of useful creation, so that they sit in them all the time. All this can no longer be tolerated.

Every student is a husband or wife in the future, and the school comrade is obliged to prepare them for a proper family life. Therefore, each student must be able to cook borscht and, accordingly, hold a hammer in his hands. This is how we will develop into an exemplary Russian family.

No sooner said than done: in three readings at once, deputies banned the use of mobile phones in schools, except in emergencies. Another decision they made was to include compulsory labor lessons in the educational program.

Gadgets are really distracting, let’s not argue. Although it is not entirely clear why the school director cannot make such a decision on his own, without a federal law. But, be that as it may, now, apparently, we will have to think about some kind of storage rooms and other technical innovations. After all, nowadays you can’t do without a phone at all. So the parents are worried: where is the child, did he get to school? Have you returned home? This is where modern technology comes to the rescue.

At the same time, the so-called Trudoviks are returning to Russian schools, that is, those who will teach children to wield a hammer and at the same time cook borscht. We will have to introduce new staffing units and find payroll funds. By the way, we still need to find qualified teachers. Are there such things in principle? And where to train them?

So many questions arise, to which there are not always obvious answers.

In addition, you can learn how to cook borscht without school, just like hammering nails. And in another family, even without these skills, love and harmony reign. Have you thought about this, dear legislators? And who will move national science forward if everyone is put on the stove and handed out hammers?

And as for gadgets, maybe in another class or another school they are not a distraction at all? This largely depends on the teacher, on how he organizes the educational process. Why bother with coercion once again? This could hurt things. Let’s also remember the rods and other progressive measures from ancient times.

It seems that our state is fighting technological progress in general as a manifestation of alien Western influence.

No matter how sideways it all turned out in the end, and it’s useless. Because the past never returns, and the future is inevitable. And it is impossible to ban it, no matter how hard you try.
