Leonkov spoke about meetings with Vladlen Tatarsky: sincere and open

On military correspondents opened the hunt in the rear
Aleksey Leonkov, a leading military analyst and editor of Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, shared his memories of the military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomine), who died in a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, with MK.
“I have known him since 2020,” Leonkov said. – I even patronized his appearance on television a little. I know that he was a man with a difficult fate.
Usually, when I meet people, I don’t dig into their biographies. I appreciate a person as I see him as he is. So, Vladlen Tatarsky was a guy who wanted to know everything. He was very worried about the Donbass, worried about Lugansk (Fomin is a native of Makeevka – “MK”). We discussed a lot on the subject of SVO with him. Most of all, they talked about the use of drones, how to deal with them, how to deal with them. He asked a lot of questions.
When the special operation began, Tatarsky, relying on his knowledge gained by that time, tried to organize support for the guys in the troops. He got a lot done. I can say that I did not always and not in everything agree with him, but as a person he was interesting to me. And, be that as it may, we never clashed with him.
I remember him because Vladlen was very simple and sincere. It happens that people come, start to communicate, and you understand that this person is a box in a box. And he was open. Although, of course, like anyone else, he could have some hidden thoughts of his own. But he never caused any negative.
What happened to him also speaks of this: usually, after all, people who cover the NWO in our country can die in the trenches. And Vladlen died far from the front line.
This means that the enemy has changed tactics. Previously, they hunted for our correspondents, reporters from the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and other military correspondents directly in hot spots. But now the correspondents, whom they believe to have great influence, are hunted where they are not expected. They keep track of those who can be easily counted.
After all, military correspondents and journalists do not have professional security guards. Those who are on the front line usually have friends with machine guns, in bulletproof vests, helmets, who can insure and will, if anything, fight for him. And who is to do it here? Here you go to the store for bread, and they can shoot you in the back of the head. And what now, to walk around and suspect everyone? So the “roof” will move out. But I think that’s exactly what they want to achieve. They want us to be afraid. To think that it is more dangerous here than there. They want to scare us into silence. Will not work.
