According to Leonid Slutsky, after leaving Rubin, he decided that it was most interesting for him to continue his career abroad. Due to high competition among coaches, the Chinese Shanghai Shenhua turned out to be the most accessible option for a Russian specialist.
At the same time, Leonid Slutsky was attracted to Shanghai Shenhua by the popularity of the team in China, the opportunity to play in the Asian Champions League and the tasks facing the club – to return to leading positions in the national championship.
A native of Volgograd evaluates his move to China positively.
