Russian football coach Leonid Slutsky can lead a Chinese club. His coaching staff may include former assistant coach at Hull City and Vitesse Oleg Yarovinsky, the newspaper reports “Sport Express”.
Journalist Ivan Karpov in his Telegram channel claims that Mr. Slutsky has already agreed to head the Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua. He stated that his coaching staff would include Mr. Yarovinsky and Vasily Berezutsky.
The last club coached by Leonid Slutsky is Rubin Kazan. He joined the team in 2019 and left the post of head coach of Rubin on November 15, 2022. Before that, he was the head coach, in particular, of CSKA Moscow (2009-2016), the Russian national team (2015-2016), Hull City (2017) and Vitesse (2018-2019).
