Leoni: more than half of parents in Russia take gadgets from their children for bad grades

The majority (74%) of parents in Russia control the school grades of their children, showed a survey of the service for the development of personal and professional skills of the child Leoni. 70% of respondents impose strict restrictions for bad grades. In particular, 56% of parents take away gadgets from their children.
In 15% of cases, parents forbid walking and spending time outside the home. 13% of respondents cut pocket expenses for children. Another 7% of parents prohibit children from communicating with friends for a certain period of time.
30% of respondents said they do not punish their children for poor grades. 7% of respondents said that they do not pay attention to the progress of the child at all. Experts note that 60% of parents consider deuces and below to be a “bad” assessment. 35% are unhappy with threes, the rest with fours.
