Leica Company presented a new camera model – the Sofort 2 instant camera, which became the successor to the first generation of the device introduced seven years ago.
The Leica Sofort 2 will cost from €379. Sales of the new instant camera will begin on November 9th.
The camera is equipped with a 4.9 megapixel lens and macro mode, and captured images can not only be printed on photo paper using the built-in printer, but also saved digitally with a resolution of 800×600 pixels. The captured footage can be viewed on a three-inch screen or via a smartphone.
The built-in memory provides storage of up to 45 pictures, but with a 1 GB microSD memory card the volume can be expanded to 850 pictures. You can also print any other photos transferred to Sofort 2 via the Leica Fotos mobile app. The camera is compatible with Fujifilm’s Instax Mini photo paper cartridges, as well as Leica’s special framed papers.
