Legislative Assembly Deputies Appreciated the Development of Sports Infrastructure in the Pavlovsky District

Kuban parliamentarians appreciated the development of sports infrastructure in the Pavlovsk region. Departure of the working group of KYC committees to the municipality took place on 12 April. The event was attended by the chairman of the sports committee Sergey Nosov, the deputy chairman of the sports committee Alexander Pogolov, the chairman of the construction committee Vladimir Lybanev, the secretary of the agrarian committee Anton Tolstopyatov, the deputy minister of sports of the region Vyacheslav Nikitin, representatives of the regional construction department and the district administration.

During the trip, the delegation visited a sports complex with a swimming pool under construction in the village of Pavlovskaya. The object is being built according to the regional project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. Previously, there was a backlog of construction time. In February this year, parliamentarians have already raised this issue. Then, among the main reasons, they named an insufficient number of workers at the facility, as well as an incorrect definition of control points.

At the moment, the municipality, together with the contractor, has developed a corrective action plan to increase the pace of construction work. The work is carried out in 2 shifts. No delays from the interactive schedule updated and approved in February 2023 were identified.

Sergey Nosov emphasized that the main task is to provide the inhabitants of the region with the opportunity to go in for sports and maintain health. According to the parliamentarian, it is extremely important not to slow down, to comply with the deadlines.

The legislators also visited the sports school “Victoria”. Football is popular in the municipality. So, about 20 teams are engaged in this sport in the region. More than 500 children train on the basis of the sports school in winter. However, now the coating in the playing hall needs to be replaced. In addition, it is necessary to update lighting, windows, as well as roof insulation. Estimates for this type of work have already been prepared.

At the end of the working trip, the deputies visited the martial arts center, opened last summer. On the basis of the facility, they conduct training in sambo, judo, karate, taekwondo and other martial arts. At the same time, the Center, whose total area is over 1,700 square meters, can accommodate 60 athletes and 80 visitors in the stands.
