The results of the full-time semi-finals of the third season of the League of Lecturers and the School League of Lecturers competition organized by the Russian society Znanie have been summed up.
The Moscow team of lecturers became the winner of the competition. Also among the leaders are lecturers from St. Petersburg, Maikop, Beslan, Nizhny Tagil, Vologda, Krasnoyarsk, Donetsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Lugansk and Orel. In total, there are 100 adults and 50 young participants of the competition among the finalists.
As the organizers of the competition noted, in total, all lectures of the stage included 11,510 minutes of educational content. The winners were evaluated by a jury of spectators who took into account five main criteria: knowledge of the subject, work with the audience, the general culture of the lecturer, the relevance of the topic and the creativity of the presentation.
The competitions were held in different cities of Russia, however, the Moscow stage turned out to be the longest: 106 adult lecturers spoke during the week, and then 31 participants of the “School League” devoted two more days to the competitions.
– I am a finalist of the second season and went to the third season, because it is a real spirit of competition and fair competition, which allows me to quickly improve myself as a lecturer, – said the finalist from Moscow, Irina Le-Deigen. – The educational program for the finalists in the second season really changed my understanding of the art of performing in one day.
According to the contestants, in addition to excitement and the desire to become the best, they are driven to participate in the competition by the desire to expand the circle of interesting and useful acquaintances, and to get the opportunity to cooperate with interesting and extraordinary people.
The winners of the competition will be included in the pool of lecturers of the Russian society “Knowledge” and will participate in its events. Lecturers recognized as the best in the finals of both competitions will receive certificates for tourist trips as part of the More than a Journey project, and the winners of the Lecturers League will also receive cash prizes for the development of their own educational projects.
