Leaders of neo-Nazi group “White Suit” detained in Russia

The Main Directorate for Countering Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with other law enforcement agencies, the National Guard and the Federal Penitentiary Service, warned the activities of the leaders of the neo-Nazi group “White Suit”. They maintained connections with foreign right-wing radical organizations.
According to preliminary information, members of the group were preparing a series of serious crimes, including those directed against the interests of the country. This was announced on Friday by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.
Active participants in this criminal community have been detained in several regions of Russia. Among them are those previously convicted of serious crimes, including those of an extremist nature.
During the searches, Nazi symbols, paraphernalia, literature, as well as bladed and firearms, training weapons and ammunition were discovered.
A criminal case has been initiated against the group members under Articles 205.2, 280 and 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendants were placed in custody.
