Lawyer: scammers are becoming more active against children
[ad_1]
Fraudsters have recently become more active against children, Honored Lawyer of Russia Ivan Solovyov said in an interview with the Prime agency.
He noted that attackers take advantage of children’s gullibility, ignorance of the value of money, lack of communication, and the desire for encouragement and recognition.
He also gave an example of one of the tactics of scammers who inform a child about a “winning prize” from a famous blogger and lure him out of all his bank card details.
There are options where children are encouraged to “earn money” by completing simple tasks, such as watching videos or taking surveys. In these cases, the target is also the bank card and the funds on it. One tactic is to offer children money to buy additional options in video games.
