Russian legislation provides for three situations in which a citizen of the country can be deprived of real estate, said Andrey Nekrasov, candidate of legal sciences. At the same time, the expert, referred to by Radio Sputnik, said that in none of these cases we can talk about a single apartment.
The court can withdraw housing if a Russian has taken a mortgage loan, but does not pay funds on it, or if he owes a large amount, which can be paid through the sale of an apartment.
As a second option, Nekrasov called the confiscation of property obtained by criminal means, including through corruption.
The third option is a systematic violation of the rights of neighbors, Nekrasov said, adding that in this case, housing is replaced with another one.
