The lawyer recalled that citizens of pre-retirement age cannot be fired unless it is a reduction in staff or liquidation of the company. In case of unemployment, pre-retirement workers are entitled to increased benefits. During the first three months they are paid 75 percent of average earnings, in the next four months – 60 percent, and then 45 percent.
