Lavrov called the absence of a Palestinian state a vulnerability for Israel

Israel’s vulnerability lies in the fact that the UN Security Council decision on the creation of a Palestinian state is not being implemented. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
According to him, the Russian side is interested in ensuring the security of the Jewish state, which is currently in a vulnerable position.
“… the root of this vulnerability lies in the fact that the decision of the Security Council (UN – ed.) on the creation of a Palestinian state is not being implemented,” the minister said at a press conference following the OSCE Ministerial Council.
He also noted that, based on the Arab peace initiative, which was proposed last year by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, after the creation of a Palestinian state, all Arab and Muslim countries will come to normal relations with Israel.
