The Latvian police have banned bringing flowers to the Russian embassy in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. This was reported by the Russian diplomatic mission in Riga.
It is noted that as a sign of support, hundreds of Latvian residents carried flowers and lamps to the walls of the embassy.
“It’s just that the local ‘guardians of order’, apparently, do not know such concepts as compassion and sympathy for the grief of others – the Latvian police prohibit concerned citizens from approaching the diplomatic mission building,” the diplomatic mission reports on social networks.
The Russian Investigative Committee previously reported that the number of deaths as a result of the terrorist attack had increased to 133. 140 people were injured.
