Latvia and Estonia left the forum of Eastern Europe

Latvia and Estonia refused from participating in the Eastern European Forum. It is aimed at strengthening ties with the countries of this region, which were once part of the socialist camp.
The two Baltic countries said they would not be on the site, as Beijing refused to condemn the NWO that Russia is conducting in Ukraine and did not support the sanctions imposed on Moscow.
In addition, China has taken economic and diplomatic retaliation against another Baltic state, Lithuania, which has expanded relations with Taiwan.
“Given the current priorities of the foreign and trade policy of the republic, Latvia has decided to terminate its participation in the framework of cooperation between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China,” the Latvian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Riga promised to continue to seek constructive and pragmatic relations with China on a bilateral basis. Estonia issued a similar statement, recalling that it had been participating in the forum since 2012. Initially, China referred to the forum as “17 plus one”. Now the number of countries participating in the forum has been reduced to 14. Beijing has not yet commented on the actions of Latvia and Estonia. The US State Department stressed that they respect the decision of the Baltic republics.
