Large shopping centers and cinemas in Belgorod will temporarily suspend operations

Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov said that large shopping centers in the city will suspend operations on January 3 and 4. Later, he added that the Rusich, Pobeda and Raduga cinemas would also temporarily stop operating.
Mr. Demidov clarified that on January 3 and 4 the work of the RIO shopping center, the Mega Grinn shopping center and the City Mall Belgorodsky MTRK will be suspended.
“Recent events are such that we consider this measure necessary. It’s better for everyone to stay at home now if possible,” the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel. He added that tickets sold in cinemas that are suspending operations can be used later, when the operational situation allows.
Today, January 2, Belgorod was subjected to three missile attacks with a difference of about an hour between each. Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov reportedthat as a result of the attacks one person was killed and 11 were injured.
