Laima Vaikule wished to see Galkin as President of Russia

Singer Laima Vaikule said that humorist Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) could become the next president of Russia. She said this on the air of the YouTube show “Caution: Sobchak.”
“Let’s see, maybe Maxim will become president. Or maybe Alla (Pugacheva -“MK“) will be president,” Vaikule said, adding that she supported Galkin’s candidacy.
The artist also said that she had always had only friendly relations with Pugacheva and, according to her, they never competed.
Vaikule added that Pugacheva, in her opinion, will cope with the stream of criticism that hit her after leaving Russia.
Earlier, Vaikule was indignant at criticism of Pugacheva and said that her colleague gave her life to the stage and the country, and also “supported all of Russia, which is now presenting something to her.”
