The Tatyana Akhatova Olympic Reserve Sports School in Labytnangi is conducting an additional enrollment of children born in 2008-2013 into sports and recreational groups for snowboarding. This was reported by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
“Training classes will be held free of charge, all athletes will be provided with basic snowboarding equipment. The main place of training is the Oktyabrsky ski complex and the sports facilities of the SShOR in Labytnangi. The program includes general, special, physical and technical training, as well as participation in competitions,” the department said.
Currently, 40 young snowboarders from seven to 16 years old are studying at the sports school. Coaches Maxim Kolchev and Alina Fedorets work with beginning athletes.
