Ukraine has not yet run out of ammunition for air defense systems, in particular Patriot and IRIS-T, but they are now in short supply. This was announced by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak in an interview The Guardian.
“Kyiv has not yet run out of American Patriot air defense missiles and German Iris-T missiles, and lacks critical ammunition. They are definitely in short supply,” the Ukrainian politician said.
He emphasized that all Ukrainian air defenses are successfully suppressed by massive missile strikes that are aimed at critical infrastructure. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces use “up to 10 or 12 missiles simultaneously” to strike, which allows them to bypass Patriot air defense systems and other missile defense shields.
In this regard, Podolyak once again called on the West to provide assistance to Kyiv and supply additional ammunition.
