Kyiv political scientist Karasev: further counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is pointless

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) completed a strategic counter-offensive without achieving results within a reasonable time. This statement was made by Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev in an interview with the Politeka YouTube channel.
“Today we are already counter-attacking sparingly, in a fading mode, because it is pointless,” the expert said.
He added that such offensive ground operations in a combined arms format should produce results within a month, but this did not happen. Therefore, according to Karasev, one should not expect anything more.
The Ukrainian army has been conducting a counteroffensive for more than three months. Because of this, they suffered huge losses not only in manpower, but also in military equipment, including Western ones. In turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that for more than three months, Kyiv was unable to achieve any results on the battlefield.
