The press service of the Ukrainian energy company DTEK issued a statement in which it called on the residents of Kyiv to switch to the regime of “maximum savings in consumption.”
“Today is another difficult day for the energy sector,” the statement said.
The document also notes that it is necessary to achieve a 35-40% reduction in electricity consumption for the entire city of Kyiv.
For this, citizens are asked not to use household appliances, and businesses are urged to turn off all advertising, both indoor and outdoor.
Recall that today the Ukrenergo company reported damage to a critical infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region as a result of the strike.
With a call for savings, they also addressed the residents of the Chernihiv region.
