Ukrainian government at an extraordinary meeting imposed repeated sanctions on Viktor Yanukovych, Sergei Kurchenko, Pavel Lebedev and Oleg Deripaska. Kyiv again confirmed the blocking of their assets. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Republic Denis Shmygal.
“This decision is necessary in order to finally confiscate all their property on the territory of Ukraine, according to the new legislation,” he explained.
Shmyhal added that the Cabinet of Ministers agreed on the purchase of military bonds by ARMA for 152 million hryvnias. These funds are held in frozen accounts and are subject to confiscation.
The Ukrainian prime minister promised to take away all the property and funds of Russia, which will then be used to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
