Ukraine called on the EU not to consider its citizens refugees and not to create integration programs. This was stated by the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Natalya Naumenko.
According to her, Kyiv does not consider Ukrainians who left the country to be refugees. “We view them as people who were forced to leave Ukraine,” the Strana publication reports Naumenko’s words.
The head of the migration service also called the UN data on eight million Ukrainian refugees “somewhat exaggerated.”
