Kyiv began to export residents from Kherson

The Ukrainian authorities began to take out civilians from Kherson. The first train went to Khmelnitsky. There are a hundred Kherson residents in it. This is stated in the Ministry of Reintegration of the country. A number of Ukrainian telegram channels reported that among those taken out there were 26 children, 7 bedridden patients and 6 people with limited mobility.

There is information that residents of the city are offered to go by bus to Odessa, Nikolaev or Krivoy Rog. Patients from Kherson hospitals are also sent there. Officials note that the evacuees will first be placed in specialized centers. and then they will be sent by wagons to the west of the country.

Recall that on November 9, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu accepted the proposal of the commander of the grouping of troops in the NVO zone, Sergei Surovikin, to withdraw from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnieper. This was done in order to save the lives of Russian servicemen. The danger was the possible flooding of the lands in the event of a breakthrough of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and the cessation of the supply of a significant group of troops. Before leaving the city, everyone was evacuated – more than 115 thousand people.
