Kuzbass is again the most sporty region in Russia

The jury of the All-Russian Sport Facilities Award – 2022-2023 awarded our region with several awards.
The main victory is the championship in the nomination “Best Sports Region”, however, the new sports infrastructure of Kemerovo also did not go unnoticed: LDK is the best among the ice palaces of Russia; Kuzbass-Arena outperformed its competitors in the Discovery of the Year nomination. And the recently completed II Winter International Sports Games “Children of Asia” were named the main sporting event.
In recent years, the region has been actively working on the reconstruction and construction of sports facilities: in 5 years their number has exceeded 600.
