Kuzbass athletes became winners at the universal fight tournament in Novosibirsk

In Novosibirsk, within the framework of the All-Russian Festival of Martial Arts, the championship and superiority of the Novosibirsk Region, as well as open interregional competitions in universal combat, were held. Kuzbass team won five gold medals.
Competitions were held from 25 to 27 November. The tournament was attended by 19 teams from the Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo regions, as well as the Altai and Trans-Baikal regions. There were about 200 participants in total.
The first places and gold medals in the tournament were won by five athletes from Kemerovo:
- Kristina Ermakova (born in 2007, 1st sports category), who competed among girls aged 14-15 in the weight category up to 47 kilograms;
- Alexander Ponomarev (born in 2007, 2nd sports category), who competed among boys aged 14-15 in the weight category up to 45 kilograms;
- Egor Korotkov (born in 2006, 1st sports category), who competed among boys aged 14-15 in the weight category up to 70 kilograms;
- Vadim Malafeev (born in 2007, 1st sports category), who competed among boys aged 16-17 in the weight category up to 60 kilograms;
- Yuri Berdyugin (born in 2005, Candidate for Master of Sports), who competed among boys aged 16-17 in the weight category up to 65 kilograms.
The coach of the athletes is Vadim Andreevich Yeshin.
And earlier, the Kuzbass large family became winner of the All-Russian competition “Family of the Year”.
