Kursk foil fencers won gold medals at the Russian fencing championship

Foil fencers from the Nightingale region won gold at the Russian fencing championship among girls under 18 years old. It took place in the neighboring region, in Orel. The team from Kursk felt confident at the competition. Hard training and experience helped the girls cope with their anxiety and quickly rush into the final part of the championship.
In the fights for first place and gold medals, the Kursk team literally crushed the team of foil fencers from St. Petersburg. The score of the battle for the highest step of the podium is 45:14.
The girls from the second Kursk team took fifth place in the competition.
The regional Ministry of Sports congratulated Polina Volobueva, Nelly Kudentsova, Daria Korzhova, Mariam Kurasbediani and their coaches on their brilliant victory.
