The government of the Kursk region has denied in its Telegram channel the news spread on the Web about the evacuation of the population of the border areas with Ukraine.
The statement notes that in the morning a spam attack began in local Telegram channels with news about vacancies for the construction of defensive fortifications and the evacuation of the population.
“Attention! Our neighbors continue to spread information,” the Kursk authorities said in a statement.
They noted that in these announcements, the phone numbers of law enforcement agencies are indicated in the contacts.
“The purpose of the attack is to overload the telephone line with calls,” the message emphasizes.
