Kuleba: Ukrainian Armed Forces failed counter-offensive due to reconnaissance drones

Another reason for the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive was named by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. The diplomat stated this at a forum in Davos, Switzerland.

According to Kuleba, one of the biggest challenges in Ukraine’s counteroffensive last summer is that both sides used surveillance drones linked to attack drones on such a scale that soldiers were physically unable to move.

As soon as they came out of hiding, they were immediately detected by a reconnaissance drone, which sent a message to the attack drone. And the fighters died immediately, the minister explained.

Let us recall that the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky at the beginning of January linked the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive with an “information leak.”

Earlier, the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said that to win the conflict, Ukraine needs 400, instead of 40, HIMARS and a thousand, not 80 tanks.
