Ukrainian Foreign Minister demanded more active assistance from the West
The Ukrainian authorities appreciate everything that Western allies do for them, but this is not enough. This statement was made on Tuesday, April 25, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
The Ukrainian diplomat, in particular, complained about the lack of artillery shells with a range of up to 30 kilometers, which are “critically important” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kuleba assured that Kyiv appreciates what Western countries have already done for Ukraine, but urged them to adjust the supply of weapons and military equipment “in an appropriate way.”
The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said earlier that the European Union had already supplied Ukraine with weapons worth 13 billion euros, and had also organized and trained more than 16,000 Ukrainian servicemen.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged intensify the supply of weapons and military equipment to Ukraineto help the Armed Forces of Ukraine “break through the defenses of Russia” and conduct a successful counteroffensive.
