Kuban Thai boxers won 8 awards at the World Championships in Turkey

Representatives of the Krasnodar region won 8 awards at the World Muay Thai Championships. The competition took place this fall in Turkey. About 1,500 athletes from 77 countries came to fight for victory. The Russian national team, performing under the flag of the International Federation of Muay Thai Associations, included 10 Kuban athletes.
According to the results of the tournament, the region’s athletes took home 6 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. Thus, the first place was won by Bella Zueva, Alexandra Luzan, Grigory Yesayan from the regional capital, Sochi residents Henrik Manukyan and Nestor Gadlia, as well as Daria Evdokimenko from Armavir. Ruslan Len from the regional center received silver. The third place was taken by Olesya Fedorenko from Armavir. In total, Russian team athletes won 89 medals, including 54 gold. The national team took first place overall.
