Kuban rowers won 12 medals at the national championship in Dagestan

Representatives of the Krasnodar region won 12 medals at the Russian Coastal Rowing Championship. The competition took place this fall in the capital of Dagestan. 9 athletes from Kuban took part in the competition.

The tournament program included races at a distance of 6,000 meters in the following classes: single scull, double sculls and four sculls with coxswain. Based on all the results, the Kuban team brought home 5 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.

So, in the women’s singles race, Maria Kubyshkina came first. In the men’s competition, Pavel Sorin became the best, Stanislav Evdokimov won bronze. In the women’s four with a coxswain, Maria Kubyshkina won bronze. In the men’s double sculls, Fyodor Tikhanov and Alexandra Kovalsky came third.
