Kuban riders won 12 medals at the Russian championship in show jumping

Kuban riders Alexandra Morozov, Uliana Chernaya and Ksenia Titovets took first place in the Russian championship in show jumping. According to the Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Vlasov, representatives of the region have 12 medals, including 7 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze.
The national championship was held in the Tver region. Young Russian athletes fought for the first place, the age of the participants in the competition ranged from 10 to 21 years. The riders showed their abilities in overcoming obstacles from 100 to 150 centimeters high.
The head of the regional ministry of physical culture and sports, Serafim Timchenko, emphasized that this season the Kuban athletes achieve high awards both in domestic and international competitions.
“This indicates a high level of training and competent work of the coaching staff,” the minister said.
According to Alexander Vlasov, about a thousand athletes in 16 municipalities of the region go in for equestrian sports in the Krasnodar Territory. The development of this discipline takes place on the territory of the district societies of the KKZ.
“Our athletes demonstrate stable results and regularly become winners and prize-winners of various competitions,” the deputy governor noted.
Recall, earlier Kuban Hovhannes Amalyan won 7 awards at the All-Russian show jumping competitions in the Moscow region.
