Representatives of Kuban won awards at international kickboxing competitions. The Championship and Championship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization took place in the city of Ramenskoye. 717 athletes from 16 countries took part in the competition.

The Krasnodar region was represented by 5 kickboxers at the championship. In the K1 discipline, the best was the athlete from the capital of Kuban, Amir Kubov (weight category 54 kilograms), 2nd place was taken by Akhliman Mamedov (81 kilograms). “Gold” in point-fighting was taken by Ivan Ovsienko (84 kilograms) from the Leningrad municipality. The bronze medalist in light contact was Novorossian Ruslan Eraliev (57 kilograms). In full contact, Sabrina Sanakulova (52 kilograms) was awarded 3rd place.

In the Shanghai Cooperation Organization kickboxing championship, 14 Kuban athletes competed for awards. In the K1 discipline, Egor Syrtsov from the Mostovsky municipality won “gold”, Hrant Barseghyan from Novorossiysk won “silver”, and Evgeny Baranov from the regional capital took home “bronze”. In full contact, 2nd and 3rd places were won by Krasnodar residents Kirill Gamyanin and Stepan Trunov. In the light contact discipline, the bronze medalist was Bogdan Belyaev from the Mostovsky municipality.
