An athlete from the Krasnodar region Ekaterina Levitskaya became the winner of the All-Russian long jump competition. The Kuban athlete in the first attempt showed the result of 6 meters and 50 centimeters, which became victorious. She was ahead of her closest rival Veronika Semashko (St. Petersburg) by 5 centimeters. The bronze medalist was Elena Kaveshnikova from the Moscow region (6.19 m).
The competitions were held in Moscow in the arena of the Russian University of Sports “GTSOLIFK”.
Last season, Levitskaya became the bronze medalist of both the Russian Championship (6.43 m) and the Spartakiad of the strongest athletes (6.57 m).
At the same competitions in the Russian capital won in the triple jump Ekaterina Koneva. The winners and prize-winners of the tournament received certificates for 50,000, 30,000 and 20,000 rubles.
On February 10, a major athletics tournament “Russian Winter” will be held in Moscow.
