Kuban athletes won 20 medals at the Governor’s Cup

In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, the Cup of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory in athletics was held. 87 athletes from 16 regions of Russia took part in the tournament, which was hosted by the Olympian arena.

Its total amounted to 4307 points, the second place went to Elena Ermolina (4185), the third – Marianna Bakosova (4150). Won in the 60m smooth run Dmitry Timkov (6.67 seconds), second place Danil Ten (6.69 s), finished third Dmitry Khomutov (6.79 s).
200 meters excelled Matvey Gerasimov (21.35 s), the other winners were Ilya Goncharenko (21.83 s) and Arseniy Kipor (21.84 s). At a distance of 400 meters, 2 final races were held. Alexander Masyutenko won by a wide margin (47.16 s), the second was Nikita Rybak (48.58 s), third – Danil Peremetov (48.61 s).
Long jumps are traditionally a strong sport for Kuban girls. won Ekaterina Levitskaya – 6.56 m. The second was the all-around Valeria Moskvitina (6.25), winning the second award of the day. Sergei Polyansky won the silver medal in the men’s long jump – 7.74 m. One of the favorites of the tournament, Artem Primak, made 3 spades and remained only 10th.
Second and third place in pole vault Elizabeth Bondarenko (4.35 m) and Daria Ignatova (4.15 m). Nadezhda Andryukhina became third in the high jump – 1.88 m. The Kuban team did not reach the top step of the podium in the shot put for men and women. Natalia Troneva took second place – 16.31 m, and the multiple champion of Russia Alexander Lesnoywho missed a long stretch due to injury, remained third with a modest result of 17.02 m.
