Kuban athletes for the first time became the winners of the Junior Beach Soccer Cup

Athletes from the Krasnodar Territory became winners of the Football Union Beach Soccer Cup among juniors. Competitions took place this summer in the capital of the country. 10 best teams from different subjects of the Russian Federation competed for awards in the tournament.

So, “Krasnodar-YUMR” reached the final of the competition and fought with the Moscow “Spartak”. Kuban athletes lost to an experienced opponent in a bitter struggle and became the second. “Bronze” was won by the capital’s team “Strogino”. In addition, the goalkeeper of “Krasnodar-YUMR” Anapchan Maxim Marchenko became the best goalkeeper in Russia under the age of 21.

“Silver of the RFU Junior Cup is a serious success for young Kuban athletes in tournaments held under the auspices of the Russian Football Union. “Krasnodar-UMR” represented the region with dignity at the tournament of the strongest young Russian beach players.
