Kuban athlete will perform in the final of the World Youth Boxing Championship

The World Boxing Championship among boys and girls is taking place in Yerevan. Representatives of the Krasnodar Territory Anastasia Taratynova and Anna Buzyleva are taking part in the tournament, reports the press service of the regional boxing federation.
Anna Buzyleva reached the final of the tournament in the weight category up to 80 kilograms. In the semi-finals she was stronger than Kural Yeginbaykyzy from Kazakhstan. On December 4, Anna will fight for gold medals against her rival from India, Megi Sheokand.
Anastasia Taratynova became the bronze medalist of the competition in the weight category up to 57 kilograms. In the semi-finals she lost to Sevara Mamatova from Uzbekistan.
The age of the participants is 15-16 years. 357 boxers from 51 countries of the world arrived in the capital of Armenia. All athletes, including those from Russia, compete under national flags.
