Valeria Moskvitina became the winner of the Krasnodar Territory Governor’s Cup in athletics, which took place at the end of January in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.
An athlete from Krasnodar became the best in the pentathlon with a total of 4522 points. As noted in the regional “SSOR in Athletics”, this result corresponds to the title of international master of sports.
At the competitions in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Valeria Moskvitina ran 60 meters hurdles in 8.51 seconds, high jumped 1.80 m, shot put 13.82 m, long jumped 6.51 m, and in the last as a program, she covered 800 meters in 2 minutes 26.54 seconds.
The athlete is training with Sergei Chernov. Last season, Moskvitina won the Russian winter championship in the pentathlon, and in the summer she also became the best at the national championship in the heptathlon. At the end of 2023, Valeria Moskvitina entered the top 10 best athletes of Kuban according to the regional Federation of Sports Journalists.
