Police are checking one of Ksenia Sobchak’s channels for LGBT propaganda among minors after an unnamed Muscovite appealed, a source said. “RIA News” in law enforcement agencies. It is not specified which channel Mrs. Sobchak is talking about in social networks. She herself suggested that we are talking about the YouTube channel “Caution: Sobchak.”
“The man asked to check the publications on the channel of journalist Ksenia Sobchak for LGBT propaganda among minors. The police are investigating,” the source said. According to him, the check is carried out under the administrative article on the promotion of non-traditional sexual relations among minors (6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
According to Ksenia Sobchak, the reason for starting the proceedings was an interview with tennis player Daria Kasatkina, published on the YouTube channel “Caution: Sobchak” – this summer she made a coming out. The interview contains a disclaimer stating that the video is intended for viewing by persons 18 years of age or older.
“A certain very vigilant and very angry citizen by the name of Soldatov complained about him. Now our video will be analyzed by competent serious people and find out whether it turns straight people into gays or not, ”Ms. Sobchak commented on the situation in her Telegram channel.
Under this article, a fine in the amount of 4,000 to 5,000 rubles may be imposed on an individual. In 2018 at the Ministry of Internal Affairs reportedthat Mrs. Sobchak’s words about Crimea’s belonging to Ukraine “from the point of view of international law” will be checked for extremism before the end of the year – then no signs of extremism were found in the words of the Russian presidential candidate.
