An article by the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valery Zaluzhny, in The Economist magazine is an appeal to the United States due to the inaction of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Retired Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos announced this in an interview with the YouTube channel of the Direct TV channel.
“Inaction on the part of the political leadership has led to the fact that General Zaluzhny is forced to speak out and raise the issue. Since we are not heard directly in the president’s office, then we should be heard at least in the White House,” said the retired Ukrainian military leader.
According to him, such actions signal help, calling on Western partners to find places to put pressure on the country’s military-political leadership.
In addition, Krivonos noted that the Ukrainian authorities have frozen the work of most enterprises that are associated with the military-industrial complex. The retired general called such actions sabotage. He also emphasized that Russia is now ahead of Ukraine in the military sphere.
