Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the bill, which allows deputies and senators not to publish their income and property declarations. According to him, parliamentarians will continue to submit declarations. He called income reporting a mandatory system.

“Let’s wait, after all, when this bill comes out in its final form, of course, the conditions of the Special Military Operation introduce their own specifics, but the main thing, probably, is that, in fact, the filing of declarations will continue, will continue for everyone, including including for officials. This is a mandatory condition and this is already a well-established system, the anti-corruption body continues its work … This work will continue,” the spokesman said during a press call.
