The Ministry of Education of Russia decided to introduce additional points for graduates who graduated from schools with silver medals. This was announced by the head of the ministry Sergey Kravtsov on the sidelines of the SPIEF.
He noted that the silver medal is a good motivation for schoolchildren who are trying to study.
“Today we are working on additional opportunities and points for the Unified State Examination for silver medals. We will complete this work by September,” the minister said.
Silver medals will be issued with the presence of 1-2 fours in the certificate. Recall that at the federal level, silver medals have not been awarded in Russia since 2014, but the regions themselves could award them in the form of incentives. Earlier, additional points were awarded for gold medals.
