The Moscow company supplied 40 bioimpedance body composition analyzers to sports schools in Krasnodar. They allow you to assess the speed of metabolic processes, indicators of lipid, protein and water metabolism, as well as the amount of fluid, fat, muscle and bone mass of a person.
“Analyzers from the capital’s manufacturer STC Medass are used in nutrition departments, intensive care, during screening examinations of the population and fitness testing to monitor the physical fitness of athletes. The company recently supplied 40 such devices to Krasnodar for use in children’s sports organizations,” said Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky. He added that specialists will use devices to identify the body composition of young athletes. Then, based on the reports received, develop training recommendations and nutrition programs to achieve maximum results. The devices measure the resistance of biological tissues when electrical current is passed through the body. This method of analysis is safe and can be used for people from 5 to 85 years of age. The manufacturer produces at least 500 devices annually.
According to the company’s general director Tatyana Kryuchkova, the devices are in demand on the market due to their reliability and high accuracy. Now they are supplied to many regions.
