Sergei Domorat, head of the resort development department of the administration of the Tuapse district, explained his words, spoken in an interview with a local news portal, that he was told at the military registration and enlistment office to “wait for the second wave of mobilization.”
“I put it wrong. I didn’t mean a wave, but a category,” Domorat said.
He explained that he had found out at the military registration and enlistment office about whether he would be drafted as part of partial mobilization, and there he was told that he did not meet the criteria yet, since he was already 40 years old.
“What will happen next, no one knows,” the official added, stressing that he knows nothing about the “second wave of mobilization” and about “changing the criteria.”
