In Russia, implants for operations to change the shape of the buttocks have completely run out, writes KP.RU.

According to him, such an operation is not very popular among Russians, therefore, due to difficulties with logistics and the high cost of silicone implants for the buttocks, they were no longer imported to the Russian Federation.
With the supply of breast implants, the situation is also unfavorable, the doctor noted. According to him, “we have to take what we have, there is practically no choice left.”
At the same time, plastic surgeon Dmitry Melnikov is more optimistic. He said that, according to suppliers, implants are delivered to the country in the same volume. The peak of excitement arose only when Western sanctions began to be imposed against Russia and “many foreign companies hastily left the Russian market.”
In May, Russian dentists stated that the share of imported equipment, materials and consumables in Russian dental clinics was 90%-100%. In this regard, the cost of dental treatment since February this year has increased by about 30% on average. Some clinics have doubled their prices.
