On October 15, Spartak Kostroma played another away game. This time the opponent of our red and white team was the “Chaika” team from the village of Peschanokopskoye, Rostov region.
Despite the fact that the team is literally rural, Chaika performs very well in the second league – and occupies (more precisely, it occupied until yesterday) second place in the standings.
However, in the 14th round of the Russian Football Championship among the teams of the Zoloto group of Division A of the Second League, Chaika was unlucky – Spartak Kostroma (which was in last place) defeated it with a score of 2:1.
Spartak defender Ivan Kudryashov opened the scoring in the game in the 15th minute, and in the second half Ilya Kubyshkin doubled the Kostroma team’s lead. “Chaika” was able to score a “prestige goal” at the end of the meeting, but the three points for the victory still went to Spartak.
Now we will wait for the home game of Spartak, which he will play on October 22 with the players of Vladimir Murom.
