Kostroma rescuers played firefighting football

A non-standard, but spectacular endurance training was held yesterday by employees of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations. They played football, being in full combat attire of rescuers – gas and smoke protection suits.
Even moving around in such special suits weighing several kilograms and wearing oxygen masks is not an easy task for an unprepared person. But in a fire, you have to move – and not just quickly, but also in conditions of unpredictably changing circumstances … that is, like on a football field.
Therefore, such a game from the point of view of the physical training of firefighters is a very useful thing. And as for its duration, the match continued until the first whistle – only not the referee, but the oxygen cylinder; This is a signal that the balloon has run out of air. This is also important – “firefighting football” showed that the supply of oxygen in the cylinder of an insulating gas mask is consumed in “combat conditions” in about half an hour – this is how long the match ended with a score of 1:1
